While in Italy, I hiked through Cinque Terre and came across a charming and beautiful area known as "via dell'Amore" (Lover's Lane). It resides in the easiest section of the Sentiero Azzurro (Blue Trail) which leads walkers from Riomaggiore to Monterosso thru Cinque Terre. The romantic history attracts many people to this walk and as part of tradition, visitors write their names on a lock then close it on a fence along the trail... thus, "Locking" in their love forever. Some of my pictures below give you an idea of the gorgeous views to appreciate...

PHOTOGRAPHY: Architecture
When I am shooting, much of my material lately has been landscape and architecture themed. So when I came across a series from Ezra Stroller prints, featured on Huffington Post, there was one particular image that reminded me of a series I did one evening in downtown LA from the rooftop of The Standard Hotel.
Here are the favorites from my series...
For those of you in NYC the Ezra Stroller exhibition is at the Yosi Milo Gallery

Its GOOP - The Clean Program
As Day 5 comes to end, I came across GOOP - Gwyneth Paltrow's newsletter (Make - Go - Get - Do - Be - See) highlighting the CLEAN Program from Dr. Alejandro Junger. It is a 21-day cleanse (not sure I could stick with one that long) that incorporates shakes and a meal each day. Plus there is a mini 3-day option too.

Quiet
Meditation is not a way of making your mind quiet. It is a way of entering into the quiet that is already there. -Deepak Chopra

True Source...
There are many articles i have read about the benefits meditation can have on one's daily life. However, I don't really meditate because I have struggled with what to think about during that time. My horoscope today provided a suggestion that is definitely worth sharing. Take time to connect with your sense of empowerment and confidence within. Focus on the theme that 'we can handle anything.'
Don't be shy... It does not have to be your horoscope to benefit.

edge of perspective...
there are times when you must push through an
unbelievable amount of what feels like broken glass...
you never know when a sharp edge will catch you...
just when you think things are clear...

Nelson Mandela once said...
"Holding a resentment is like drinking poison and hoping it will kill your enemy."
From Deepak Chopra's personal transformation:
Ultimately forgiving another is forgiving oneself.
Every situation that calls for forgiveness is a step in our own evolution to higher consciousness. What we think we are forgiving in another is an act of freedom for our own soul.
